Doing a quick back of an envelope calculation on our house's BER. Our only energy source is electricity complimented with air source heat pump. The heat pump consumed 5,000kwh and delivered 17,700kwh in 2021. Our annual electricity consumption is around 9,000kwh and I know BER would also include additional energy consumed by lighting and hot water, but would the house's BER be based on the energy consumed or required/delivered?
