Wood Pellet Boiler

I was looking at a wood pellet boiler to replace solid fuel stove, so looking at the stats below if it was on MAX for 4 hours it would consume 21.6kg of wood pellet (1 fill) at €7.50 per 10kg bag it would cost €15 to run for 4 hours, am i missing something here or it seems mad expensive?

If the stove any way decent I wouldn't replace with a pellet boiler. It puts you at the mercy of the lad who owns the very expensive wood to pellet conversion machine

What is the current solid fuel stove heating? Is it a back boiler type thing to feed some rads, a hot water tank.... or just a single room?

There's automated stoves that burn logs, might be a better bet since logs are generally easier to procure and possibly more eco friendly than pellets which seem to be shipped in from overseas a lot
