Hi. We got our attic converted last year changing from a hipped roof to apex with a dormer for the conversion. My problem is its Very noisy. Roof of dormer is fibre glass and even when birds land it as if they are wearing Dock Martins. What could we do to reduce the wind and external noises?

Externally insulated build up (warm roof) would have been my choice.

Do you know the roof build up?

Not 100 % sure but I know the main element is fibreglass for the dormer structure.

Id love to know what experts would say but I guess using materials like rockwool insulation or cellulose and soundbloc plasterboard would have helped.
