Short Term Let Slow Down

We rent out a property for short term lets and have no bookings from now until XMas. Its our first year doing it and we have been busy up to now. I suppose this is normal seasonal cycle. Anyone else experience this?

totally normal: tourist number plummet in many places after the end of October.

There's been a general increase in cost of living and less disposable income for frivolities - started in March and continuing apace. People still have money to spend but more careful about it in recent months.

Plenty of demand for longer term lets, partic in certain areas.

Personally we have stopped looking at going away for weeks here as there is alot of gouging price wise going on so we leave it off now and just go abroad .

Pity really not saying the OP is at this in any way but it's just my experience.

Depends where you are, if you are in any of the the major cities you would be constantly full year round.
