Planning a trip down to Waterford looking at the tower hotel for weekend break with family

Any family friendly restaurants to eat and things to do or is it best just to stroll around. Have the car but dont want to travel to far

yep-you could just stroll around and see what take your fancy-unless you are planning on going to to the coast for a spin-everywhere in the city is accessible by foot(or until your 5 year old gets tired..).

Most places are family friendly, No 9 in George's Court has a play area. If you want to go outside the city centre Jack Meade's has a playground.

Momo( nice), Jeff, emilnanos( nice but a bit pricy)Mclearys on the quay. Pinks is a bar/restaurant also nice

Heading to Momo one of the nights possibly eat hotel second while watching the rugby

Will stroll around also

Pinks is a college student restaurant that makes god awful food and is purely for 19 year olds to get pissed and take instagram selfies. Steer well clear.

A bit out of town I suppose, but LOKO on teh

he Dunmore Road opposite UHW is big and family friendly for all ages. Nice staff too.

Got the worst burger I've ever been served in there, I could have used it to build a wall it was so burnt.

Honest to god the food there is appalling.
