    In general terms what would be seen as being an average price to rent land in the west of Ireland?

    All depends on the quality and services - water, power, sheds etc. I'm in East Clare and a lot of the marginal land around would be 100/acre approx. If it was good quality land then it would be more. You could also get lucky too and get ;land for less as the owner/farmer just wants someone on it but this would be scarce and usually only for poor land.
