All they are missing now is Daniel Ricciardo in a Haas Suit. A pity he did not even consider going to Haas.

I wonder will Daniel say anything about it this weekend.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

He's too busy riding around on a horse looking a bit foolish. With how bad he's been with Mclaren, you wouldn't blame any team for not wanting him

Well, that's Schumachers seat safe for next year then.

    This too shall pass.

Lucky he got it out, hopefully no damage at the rear

Edit: session over for him ouch

Jennie Gow on the BBC is hearing it needs a new gearbox.

    This too shall pass.

Are we expecting Ferrari to be quick at this track or will RB run away with it? LeClerc and Perez taking penalties I think?

Tyres being shredded here in FP3

Plenty of penalties for tomorrow. Alonso with a 5 place penalty for engine, Leclerc with a 10 place penalty for engine and turbo, Checo with a 5 place penalty for engine and Zhou with a 5 place penalty for engine

Ha, Croft catching Brundle having no interest in what he was saying about launching the Vegas GP in a couple of weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,176 ✭✭✭Longing

Anyone else amazed how much the Mercedes front wing moves up and down from braking to load on wing. Just by the TV camera it looks like a couple of inches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

He is hosting the launch party, not the kind of luck you'd hope for in Vegas 😆

It was just the way he was going on about and then says Brundle would be on the guest list.

    ”what’s that for?”

Sainz on pole! The Ferrari looks seriously fast around here, shame Leclerc is taking his penalty

Great lap from Carlos well done to him.

    I really love this track.

Ha and they thought Hamilton was going to get on pole nope not this race or this year. When will they learn.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Wonder will it just be a case of RB having the better race package again and the Ferrari deg hurting their performance. Hard to see past Verstappen but there could be some interesting situations with LeClerc & Perez trying to get up the field for second in the championship. Hamilton and Russell beside each other. Thought earlier in the year Hamilton would catch him once he regained form but 27 points between them now and a better result for Russell here would almost clinch it for him barring DNFs.

Disaster of a grid walk so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,282 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Love that ex drivers and older drivers always have time for Brundle. Interviewing celebrities is nearly always a disaster

Brakes on Hamiltons car being pulled apart

The misses just called Brundle "cringy", I missed it all bar Lawrence Stroll and the guy from Green Day

In fairness he got a few green day songs in, but the drummer didn't seem too impressed.

Sound issues now, technical and with the singer.

    So much 'Murica

I'm always amazed at the media and other commitments from the drivers pre-race.

15 mins to go and George is talking to Sky and Hamilton fist bumping the kids.

I'd always imagined you need to be in the zone, but I suppose there is still plenty of time and it probably happens during the parade lap.

It was nice to see Tre-Cool in an Adidas t-shirt 😎

Seems like I missed the fun and games of the grid walk. Trying to multitask between the nfl and the F1.

that’s the Texans cheerleaders crofty ffs.

was Danicas insight as riveting as it normally is ?

Max overtaking on the formation lap.

Should be relegated to a pit lane start for that. Shocking disregard of the rules.

    Disaster for Sainz.

Must have been tagged by a merc

    Rotten luck for Sainz.
