Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Developer job title changed without my knowledge

Hi there, I've been a software developer for over 20 years and recently started a new position within a Cybersecurity org in a new company (approx 1 year there). My job conisists of full stack and also embedded software development, plus architecting and designing within Cyber security.

I started as a Senior Software Developer, however about 6 months in, my title was changed to Senior Cyber Security Engineer (didn't know about it until I checked my profile recently). I'vce noticed that most of the Cyber Security Engineers here are domain specialists, specifically Risk and Threat Modelling, or Risk Analysis and Mitigation.

I've asked them to change it back, as if I ever move onto another position, I'd rather my title reflect what I did, rather than leave ambiguity as to my role.

Am I being petty, or do I have a valid concern?
