I find that many people around me are starting to ride electric bikes, and no matter what their occupation or age, they probably need a bike. From children to adults, from students to teachers, and even people over 50 like to ride electric bikes for sale.

So, can you ride the same electric bicycle for different heights, body types, and genders? the answer is negative. Different people have different best electric bike suitable for riding, they can choose different bike to meet the needs of different people.

Saddle position affects every aspect of pedaling position and comfort. A very important factor in choosing a bicycle is the height of the saddle. The height of the base not only affects the comfort during riding, but also the safety of riding. Therefore, the height of the saddle must be suitable for the rider.

Today, electric bikes are more functional, and many bicycles are sold with adjustable base height. It's straightforward to choose a bike with an adjustable base.

First, choose the right bike size for you

At present, the standard size of most bicycles is suitable for most people, but everyone's height, weight and body shape are different, so first choose the size that suits you.

So, how to adjust the height of the bike base? there are many ways

You need to determine your inseam, the distance from the crotch to the bottom of the leg. Bike seat height should be 109% of the inseam. If you don't know how to calculate it, find a bike seat height calculator online to help you do the math.

    Heel toe method

This method can help you find the correct saddle height without math.

Sit on the saddle with your feet on the pedals so that the cranks arm are perpendicular to the ground.

If your legs are locked straight at the knees and your feet are in a down position on the pedals, the saddle is too high.

If your hips have to rock to get your heels to the pedals, the saddle is too high.

If your legs are bent at the knees and your heels are on the pedals, the saddle is too low.

When you already know your saddle height, use the torque wrench or Allen key that came with the bike to loosen the seat clamp and move the seatpost up and down inside the seat tube. Change the saddle height so your legs are straight when you are seated and the pedals are at the bottom of the crank rotation.

    Fixed saddle height

Once you've found the right bike saddle height, you're ready to set it up.

First, make sure that the seatpost does not protrude from the frame beyond its "minimum insertion" or "maximum extension" marks, and that the nose of the seat is in line with the bicycle frame.

Then, use a torque wrench to retighten the seat clip to hold the seat post in place. Continue turning the torque wrench until you feel and hear a loud click, indicating that the tightening torque has been reached. A loose saddle clip or seatpost retainer can damage the seatpost, or it could cause you to lose control and fall.

The height of the saddle after adjustment is suitable for you. You can not only enjoy the convenience that fat tire electric bike, but also enjoy the best riding experience.
