17 months old will lay a little less regularly but they will be bigger eggs. How much are they compared to point-of-lay? 15 - 20 weeks.
They will keep laying for another year anyway.

so point of law would lay 5 per week but 17 months maybe 3 per week,
you probably need lighting with them over winter to get them to lay too i suppose

Point of lay will start off with occasional small eggs and over a month or two get to one a day (they work a seven day week!). Over time eggs get bigger. Yeah, a light may help them to keep up over the winter.
