New Local Link between Co Galway and Mayo

Someone else spotted the following.

Is it normal that Local Link would be running a 4x per day, 7 days a week service? I'd have expected to see a service like that running as a regular PSO route.

seems we are getting a new Bus Route, "Route 431 Claremorris to Carraroe". It fills a big void in the bus network, admitilly a sparely populated void,

Local Link operate numerous regular bus routes across the country with many having multiple departures seven days a week and there is a big push to roll out more.

They have the advantage of being able to deploy smaller vehicles where appropriate leaving Bus Éireann to focus on commuter routes and higher demand rural services.
