Does the tlc mean they're tubeless and crazysexycool?

Tubeless tyres.

I've never used this exact type of tyre with a tube, but have done on many occasions on other tubeless tyres without a problem

I have these on a couple of bikes with clinchers and tubes. No problem. They've become my tyre of choice for road use (used to be GP4000's). They're light, grippy and have good puncture protection.

Someone said they used these a lot on road, looking at that tread pattern, would these not be wholly unsuitable for pure road use? Either not amazing in the wet or wearing to nothing in just a couple of months?

Was thrown by the name - stupid marketers putting Gravel into the name of a road tyre.

I have 1500 miles done on a pair of gravelking sk's, although they are 40, not 43. Probably more than half of those miles were on the road, and I have had no issue with them

No doubt but from experience you have to ride them a little more conservatively that you would a nice slick tyre.

Maybe, but... the slick version would've been perfect for the gravel roads I was on in the Vendee in the summer. Needed a bit more than road tyre, but my gravel king sk a bit overkill.
