Comments have vanished

Hi , looking for some help here.

All my comments from August 2018 to June 2022 have disappeared from the site . Before and after these dates seem ok . Something like over  3k comments gone.

 

The issue seems to have arisen when I was banned for no reason . Niamh kindly  reinstated my account but it has not come back fully.

 

I’d appreciate if someone could investigate this for me and get my previous posts back

Seems to have happened in multiple forums e.g.:

Both of those discussions have other users quoting replies from the OP, but no sign of the comment they are quoting

It is across lots of forums over the years .

28064212 is spot on , the reason I copped it is people have quoted my posts that don't seem to exist anymore .

My posts were over 6 k, so something is wrong .

I've also noted a lot of posts disappeared for a mod when looking for something else. This may be linked. Niamh is unlikely to be around until Monday, but I did alert her to the example I saw a few days ago and she was going to look into it

I'll mention this thread to her in our Admin forum

Hi Barr, I am told that most if not all of your posts are restored now. However I can see that in the threads that @28064212 mentioned above, the posts are still missing, Can you check any other threads that you were aware had some missing posts and see if any of your posts there have been restored before I get back to them please? My post number has gone up roughly to what it used to be. However , any comments I made between Nov 2019 to June2021 are still are not on the site

 It isn’t specific to any forum as it  is across the board for this period.

Brilliant ,thanks Niamh 😀, my account looks back to normal again . Posts have reappeared and the amount looks right (6,723)

I cant be the only one this happened to , at least it can be fixed.
