    Rumours circulating on social media( I know) something that will change the World we live in will happen on September the 24th 2022.

    Any prededictions?

    I think the most common one is a world wide blackout.

    Or maybe the Internet might go down.

    As to the OP :

    Over the years, I've often wondered about things like "the second coming" or some divine retribution for mankind's many misdemeanours. But then I think, that in the whole cosmos over the whole of time, nothing really happens, just the day to day universe stuff. Why should our infinitesimally small speck of dust be visited with some deliberately targeted catastrophe? Its all in our heads. (I've ruined many a good Exorcist type film for myself with this question - although it was probably a defence mechanism to stop me being paralysed with fear).

    maybe on 24th september 2022 at 00:00:00.0000000000001 all the computers in the world read the timestamp and because of the pattern of 1's and 0's unique to that timestamp, say "wait a minute... you CAN divide by zero!" zzzzzzzzztttttttt, BANG!

    and I won't even be able to come here and say "I told you so!".

    Well, apparently Friedrich Merz (a German politician) delivered a speech in parliament earlier this year and said that September 24th will be a day we'll all remember. However, he actually meant February 24th, the day when Russia invaded the Ukraine.

    The clip went viral without context, and social media picked it up (quite late it seems).
