BTEA and part-time work?

Hey, I've recently qualified for BTEA after being on job seekers since May after being made redundant. I know in previous years you could work part-time during the academic year and it wouldn't affect your BTEA payment but I believe the rules have changed. Just wondering if anyone now on BTEA is able to work part-time…

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone now on BTEA is able to work part-time without it affecting their payment, or if it is, how much does it affect the payment?

I'm in the same boat. I was doing a VTOS course before this and I worked part-time while doing it as work didn't affect my VTOS payments. I've done a little research and from what I can find you can work up to 20 hours on BTEA. Same concept as X's and O's. Ill follow this thread anyway as id like clarification on it.
