Wanted: 60cm winter/trainer bike

Hi there,

Long shot, but I am looking for a road bike with a 60cm frame for use as a winter bike and for use on a trainer. I am not looking for anything fancy, just something for wet rides and for putting on the trainer for the rest of the winter. Alloy is fine with 105 or equivalent groupset. Wheels not essential.

I've a Triban RC520 that may fit the bill. Frame size is Small though, and I've no idea what the equates to in Inches

I’ve a wilier I built up for this exact use but I’ll likely leave my tt bike on the turbo all winter and just ride my good bike outdoors (I’m actually toying with changing that too). Im open to sensible offers and would consider selling without wheels, which I could use as winter wheels.

59 would be a squeeze as I'm 6'4" so every cm of a 60. Budget depends on the bike but well below 1k realistically and have seen bikes for less than 500e that would do me fine. It'll sit on the trainer for most of the winter.

Sorry to go off the topic a bit but just to say bianchi frames can be a bit funny with sizing. I've a 59 infinito and it's really more like a 57.5 or thereabouts, I suspect even a bianchi 61 could be smaller than what you're looking for

I have a 60 cm Trek Alpha 2.5 I'd let go, 10 speed Ultegra, plenty of KMs on it but sound, wheels are smooth, and true but have wear on the rims. There are a few marks on it but nothing you wouldn't expect, the last few winters it's done some outside KMs but been mainly on the turbo.

I'd be asking €500 but willing to talk.
