there what kind of money collected are lads getting or paying for artic loads (typically 3 bays) of ash logs for firewood?

Dieback is pretty widespread so probably time to come down

We've a good bit to sell, I'd be interested in some price info too.

we sold one lorry load about 27 m³ earlier this year and got 1750 euro at roadside, customer paid delivery.

was this cheap?

I'm hearing €2,000 from buyers but this man is getting this I believe (€2700)

That's 3 m lengths to height of bars on artic I assume; so 3m*2.2m*2.5m per bay or circa 50m3?

Where are you getting your 27m3?

the 27m³ i mentioned is the solid volume of ash clearly the load bay on the lorry would have a larger volume due to all the empty space between the lengths of timber.

that 2700 for a load of ash is over 100 euro a ton
