Motorcycle Test Learn license notations

    Hi,

    Im looking for some help I have booked my A category motorcycle test and have been put on a waiting list and I am waiting to hear about a date and time of it.

    The booking is all done through the myroadsafety site and it lists the licences you have in your account ,but I am confused as on my learner permit it has the Category notations 79.03 - RESTRICTED TO TRICYCLES.

    It doesn't say this on my physical licence so I'm wonder with it means as it's only come to my attention on the myroadsafety site.

    Does this mean I am only allowed to take a test on a motor tricycle?

    No, it means you can drive a 'tricycle'. As in , a tricycle that under EU regs is covered by regs. An example is a Piaggio MP3 LT version or CanAm Spyder type of thing.

    Note the Piaggio MP3 exists in 2 versions : one car-licence compliant (LT version), and the other normal MP3 which requires a bike licence.
