Undescended testicle in 8 yr old

    Hi All

    Just wondering if anyone else has a son with a undescended testicle? My son has an appointment soon with a urologist to see if he needs surgery. My doctor has mentioned that he may need to have surgery to bring down the testicle. Iv looked online and it seems this is usually done at a younger age so has anyone have a son who has experienced this at 8 or 9? I'm hoping it's not worse when they are older

    its a very minor procedure, if it needs to be done, there's very little to be worried about that an ice-cream won't sort out
