Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be applied on our concrete floor which is full of mould spores I can clean it but was wondering if there is something more of a permanent solution before the tiller comes to tile.

    Many thanks

What's the history of the floor / house? More info would be helpful.

You will need to try to figure out why the mould was there in the first place. Is there a source of excessive moisture somewhere in the vicinity (leaking floor pipe for instance). Was this floor covered in the past with something like lino or similiar which might have trapped moisture? Is there a dpm present in the floor? Perhaps have an experienced professional give advice/opinion.

Generally in the absence of an obvious water source, improved heating and ventilation as well as a reduction in moisture load such as drying clothes indoors with improve the situation.

Use water mixed with spirit vinegar and a pinch of baking soda to clean the surface and allow to completely dry before tiling.
