    Locked in.

Captain moved about 20 times this morning but Haaland it is.

    Sanchez

    TAA, Robbo, James, Cancelo

    Salah (VC), Gross, Martinelli, Aaronson

    Jesus, Haaland (C)

    Ward, Saliba, Andreas, Archer

Main decision was to start or bench Saliba, I just think a clean sheet is unlikely. Not in the top 8 teams on the odds for a CS this GW so first sub he is.

    GL all.

Toyed with a -4 - Ramsdale, Robertson are issues but will leave that til next GW.

    Walker, Cancelo, Neco, Robbo

    Salah, Gross, Ward-Prowse

    Toney, Haaland (c), Jesus

    Ward, Almiron, Dier, Martinelli

My bench could have signifcant haul which would be a killer.

Edit - rumour of Robbo being benched, great start!

Anyone nervous about Haaland starting? I am

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,584 ✭✭✭Xander10

not really, especially since I reckon my leagues will have 99.9% Halaand (C), so we will all in in the same boat. Plus he can do a lot of damage in a 20 min cameo if necessary.

The one this about Haaland is he's not going to the WC, so he's going to have a long break in the season, compared to a lot of other players, he's 22, and will want to break records - imagine him scoring another hattrick today? If pep was concerned about managing his minutes he could have hauled him off at half time last weekend.

But even if he is benched, such a large % of players will have him captained it won't make that big of a difference.

Robertson on the bench, that's a kick in the balls.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,710 ✭✭✭crushproof

I woudln't mind if I knew he'd stay on the bench. But knowing Klopp he'll be brought on in the 75th minute for a massive 1 pointer.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,195 ✭✭✭✭Father Hernandez

Exactly. Could have Andreas to come in who's been a real super sub this season.

Robertson will get on for 15 mins and prob get booked.

Ah don't be silly, my decision to leave him in!

I was looking for early team news but didn't see anything and already made the move to Groß last night.

Big issue in my team now though!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,562 ✭✭✭shmeee

He was a nice differential. Always was a fear of it but was fairly sure he'd start for such a game.

    Gross Salah Martinelli

    Toney Jesus Haaland(C)

    Subs: Pope Neto Andreas White

It's interesting the Klopp is rotating him a good bit - seems to get hooked in nearly ever game, whereas was ever present last season. He was subbed along with TAA on the 70th minutes against Newcastle when they are searching for a goal - two players who between them have 5 goals and 23 assists last season - was a little strange. You don't want to be spending 7m on a player with doubt over him starting, as you say he's likely to come on, but that's little use in FF terms.

Glad I got rid of Robertson this week then, felt like him being dropped on the bench was coming with the amount of times he's been subbed off for Tsimikas in recent games.

I decided to bench Martinelli for Neco Williams. Could go seriously wrong but it's fun to take risks every now and again

    Ederson

Nunez shot tipped onto crossbar by Pickford then Diez his post

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,562 ✭✭✭shmeee

Was sure Diaz worked a lovely position and was gonna slot it in. Cracking save by Pickford previously after Everton had plenty of pressure and hit the woodwork at other end.

Salah is really starting to frustrate me.

Counting total points he's still doing OK, but the jammy assists and lack of any involvement raise some questions...

Of course the moment I typed it in I have a feeling Liverpool will get a penalty, he will score and everything will be OK, but he isn't who he used to be last seasons. For 13 millions I want more.
