I found this guy in my garden this morning on one of my roses. I'm fairly sure that it's a crab spider. From searching the web, it's more of a danger to bees than my roses.

Do I need to eradicate it or can I leave it alone?

Absolutely leave it alone. Would you eradicate Pied Wagtails because they will eat butterflies? Or Blue Tits for eating the caterpillars of butterflies and moths? They're part of the natural ecosystem. Embrace them.

My preference is to leave it alone. Just wanted to be sure.

    Thanks for your response.
