iOS 15.6.1 battery drain

Okay so I don’t have anything fancy, a 6s which was working perfectly until I downloaded the 15.6.1 & the battery drain is a disaster, can go from 80% to < 10% in the blink of an eye, the battery is good, random apps all of a sudden using a lot of battery power, this morning it was App Store 50%, this afternoon it was…

Okay so I don’t have anything fancy, a 6s which was working perfectly until I downloaded the 15.6.1 & the battery drain is a disaster, can go from 80% to < 10% in the blink of an eye, the battery is good, random apps all of a sudden using a lot of battery power, this morning it was App Store 50%, this afternoon it was gmail 30% & MySky 22%, nothing has changed as regards my usage other than the update & I’m not a youngster so it’s not in my hand all day, not by a long shot, it’s an issue with the update, anyone else have the same issue or a fix, can’t find anything online, strongly considering going back to 15.6 as phone is not fit for purpose now
