Budweiser king of beers

Dishwater. And I'm not a beer snob who's only interested in craft beers. I like Heineken and Carlsberg.

Budweiser is too watery imo. Although I was at the folks' house yesterday evening to feed the cats, and there was a can of Bud in the fridge, whose design alone made it seem like a very refreshing prospect on a warm evening.

    Excellent marketing.

The issue is you can get really nice beers when they first come to market in Ireland. Moretti is a prime example. Then they start brewing it in Scotland under license and it goes to ****. Thats what the brits do. Corona exactly the same. In saying that Corona Light is still imported from Mexico so might be worth a go.

With a lot of the craft beers and IPA's I think a lot of the time it's just hipster trying to convince themselves its nicer than the likes of the mainstreams when a lot of the time they aren't. I know lads that wouldn't be caught dead drinking a heineken or carlsberg. It would have to be a pint of Ginger Funky Jungle Stout or something along the lines of that.

My measure of a good beer is if it can be drunk at room temp. Obviously not as good as a cold pint but if you can drink a beer at room temp it's usually the taste of it speaking for the quality.

Bud, Heineken etc. are absolutely horrific to drink unless ice cold. Even then. I don't know why but whenever I got drunk off those beers I would have the worst hangovers. Yet I drink something like Tyskie and feel a bit rough but not nearly as bad.

The German beers are good. Krombacher or Bitburger.
