JC Higher Maths Topics in Exams

Hi, I'm trying to help my son with his JC maths and having not looked at a maths book in 30 years I'm a bit overwhelmed with the syllabus. Is there any topics that come up every year that I could bring myself up to speed on so I can help him? Any help appreciated!

JC Maths is now just one paper, so questions will draw on knowledge from right across the whole course....maybe your best bet is to start with one topic and work through it, use notes your child has from school. ...if he/she thinking HL for LC will need to have comprehensive knowledge of whole course....
