Hi heading too Cardiff in September for a few days and wondering how reliable the An Post Currency Card is in places over there ?

I know its a 'pre paid Mastercard' but a bit iffy about loading it up and then not been able to use it esp not having the ability to exchange the £ back to € like Revolut (issues with my Revolut account so can't use that)

I'm not sure about the An Post currency card but it's probably fine if it's Mastercard. You can also try Curve. It links to your Irish credit or debit card. I prefer it to Revolut for foreign spending as there is no need to top up the card. Any charges go straight to your linked debit or credit card. No currency conversion fees and the exchange rate is decent enough.

Used one in the UK last month and it worked fine. No problems at all.
