Give up beer if that's what does it. It won't kill you to forego it. It's a simple fix. As for letting your mother clean up your piss - that's another story.

Maybe switch to shorts after your fourth pint so you're not consuming so much liquid later in the night?

Im alarmed that you said aside from not drinking. Maybe there is a genuine medical condition which might be underlying it. Im a diabetic, six pints and I might move on to shorts as if I drink too much I end up with a massive bladder problem and cramps! Alcohol stimulates the production of alcohol, ADH and this increases the pressure on the bladder. Hope it gets solved.

Sorry but the advice you don't want to hear is the only sound advice. Which is often the case in life, unfortunately.

Some people can't handle drink because it makes them act way out of line, some because it makes them vomit, some because it doesn't mix with their medication, some because it causes issues with their skin becoming flushed or irritated, some need to avoid it because it doesn't mix with their meds, some get addicted to it. There's all sorts of reasons. Pissing the bed is one pretty solid reason I'd say.

I actually find it quite amusing, and an interesting insight into our attitude towards drink that you think this is a problem because it happens after MORE THAN SIX PINTS.

No man really needs more than 6 pints. It's plenty. Any more after that point adds nothing to any man's personality, trust me. And, it will usually ensure he is a total writeoff the next day (unless he is a full blown alcoholic).

I have a skin condition and you know what my limit is before I get a flareup that lasts 2-3 days? 1 pint. I literally cannot have 2 without my skin going mad. And I know I'll never stop at one so I had to just stop altogether.

It is a drag but the suffering of enduring social events sober is nothing compared to what happens to me physically after I drink, especially when you factor in the hangover. Most drugs actually end up being more trouble than they're worth, I have found.

I admit I find weddings and such difficult to enjoy cold sober and wish I could get a buzz on like everyone else, but I always just think to myself, 'I might be suffering a bit now but they'll be suffering a lot more tomorrow and I'll be fresh as a daisy and not waste the whole day in a heap.'

And really, I'm not actually suffering. I'm more present at the event, will remember it, and can control my thoughts, speech and actions a lot better. I won't get into any stupid drama. And I suppose I always take this for granted but waking up dry is pretty deadly too.

Cut back on the beer, drink spirits or just dont drink as much or at all.

Six pints would be seen as a lot of alcohol and booze in most countries. Its bad for ya.

Must be the IT in me, but I'd have to try to drink six pints of water, see does the same thing happen. Slamming six shots to test is it just the alcohol probably isn't a great idea.

Have you tried that 0.0 beer?
