    Hi

I am looking to see if there are any musicians around balbriggan or North County Dublin interested in getting together for some ballad sessions and maybe live sessions if it works out. I'm on the Young side of 50 so similar age but anyone up for it would be great.

Dubliners my main influence but love all ballads.

I play 5 string banjo and do a bit of vocals. Any one with guitar, fiddle, tin whistle or any type of trad instrument up to having a go?

I have no place to meet so any suggestions welcome.

    Cheers

    Ray

Not myself, but did you look into the Seamus Ennis centre?

Check out the Skerries Trad Festival Facebook page. They could possibly put you in touch with some other local musicians.

Not sure if it still goes on but there used to be a great trad session in Strand bar and the Drop inn in Rush. Round Towers in Lusk I think have regular sessions

Check out Rince Ceol Fingal. Based in Rush they might be able to help

    LeoB,

Dont they still have sessions in the Carlyan? I'm pretty sure they have them in the Michael Collins pub aswell.
