Just back from our Summer holidays , looking into next year now . What has been your favourite European sun holiday with teens . They love water parks and getting a tan and are pretty easy going .

We have been to a lot of places but looking for inspiration , was thinking Croatia as havnt been … open to other suggestions .

I thoroughly recommend Duinrell which is in wassenaar, on the outskirts of The Hague. Indoor water park, outdoor pool and general fun park too. You fly to Amsterdam and get a train to Duinrell and a bus meets you there. No car needed as terrain flat and so bike friendly so you cycle every where, to wassenaar, which is a lovely village, Leiden , a lovely university town, the beach etc. Book your mobile home which is on site directly with them and 99% of the rides are free, as are the water attractions. The only downside is that good weather is not guaranteed, the weather is only slightly better than Ireland.

+1 for Duinrell, although I believe that there's been quite a lot of negative discussion about it online over the summer.

Salou for anyone looking to get a tan. Portaventura theme park and Ferrari Land are close by as well as the Costa Caribe water park.

We would generally stay off-site and buy admission tickets in advance but you might get a deal for one of the on-site hotels.

Thanks for reply , I should have said No mobile home holidays sorry . I’m thinking more a nice hotel .

We need good weather too , we had friends who went there before and it rained a few days . We are just back from holidays and it was in the 30s for 2 wks , that’s the temps I’d want for our Summer holiday .

Lanzarote maybe, unless you've been before?

Sol Lanzarote in Matagorda is all-inclusive and close to the airport. On the beach. On the outskirts of PDC.

Rancho Texas nearby. Big waterpark in Costa Teguise. Caves & volcano well worth a visit.

Tenerife could be an option, there's a great waterpark there Siam Park with free buses running from Playa de las Americas. Don't remember it being too pricey when we were last there and always went a couple of times each trip.

Tenerife also very reasonable for food and drinks
