Ectofly gun problems

Bought new ectofly gun yesterday worked for one day and wont fill properly now so that I can use fan nozzle cleaned it and pipe fully and made no difference any ideas

You might need to put oil on the oring on the plunger usually liquid paraffin oil or veg oil does the trick

springs back perfectly but barrel won’t fill .I had it set to 7 yesterday and barrel filled and it worked properly but wont fill now

Did you have it dismantled for cleaning? Is there a valve in backwards anywhere in it?

Sounds like the valve in the nozzle isn't working right, probably a bit of dirt in the valve in the nozzle.

Ectofly need to be thoroughly cleaned out of the gun after use You shouldn't leave ectofly in the gun overnight, it goes hard in the gun and very hard on the tubing as well.

It's also useless for protection for maggots , Aneighbour used it last year and it only lasted a fortnight

Unscrew the nozzle and clean the spring and valve in the nozzle
