Dog to amsterdam

Hi - has anyone ever brought their dog to Amsterdam? I was flying Dublin to Amsterdam recently with KLM and some woman was bringing a dog with her. Seems KLM will allow you to bring your dog on to the plane if it is in a pet carrier. Amsterdam itself is a very pet friendly city. I’ll be doing this trip again soon and was thinking about bringing my dog. Anyone know anything about the rules for flying and entering Holland with a Pet?

When was that flight? I flew last year with our dog on that flight but have heard since then that Dublin airport are not allowing pets through security anymore

First step is to go to your vet and organise the pet passport and discuss what vacs are required.

They don't allow pets in the baggage hold anymore due to the way baggage is screened. If the airline permits pets in the cabin (officially called PETC), you can travel though the airport
