Has anyone else ever realised the identity of a boards user ? Myself and a few lads in work would often dabble on boards when one lad copped on to the identity of a particular user. This particular user posted a lot of personal issues on line. He posted about his hobbies, interests, where he worked and pretty personal stuff.

Soon we figured out it who the poster was. He soon left the company and we never did get to tell him our discovery. Just shows not to spill the beans on an internet forum !!!

Pretty much everyone I know knows my boards and Reddit names, and I don't hold anything back on either.

Don't see the problem. They can distance themselves from me if they don't like it saving us both time and effort.

That all happened very quickly or you were slow to your 20 post count. Or you were the one found out?

What were you planning on saying to him about all this stuff you found out about him?

Does living in a world where you have to stand behind your opinions frighten you? Or do you still consider the internet and 'Real Life' to be different things?

I'm stepping in here. Speculating over anonymous Boards user's real identity usually results in a siteban.
