Another insect id question

I wonder if anyone can help identifying this insect. About 25-30mm long plus another 15-20m for the antenna. Seen in Co.Galway

Looks like a soldier beetle but you're way off on the size!!

Antenna should have said 15 - 20 mm.

Yes, i was guessing that it was as long as a large bumble bee, longer than a wasp.
I just hadn't seen one before. Are they common in Ireland/Galway?

They're common and widespread. Seen May to August.
