Online check-in/Boarding passes

Travelling by myself in a couple of days. I haven't flown in a few years. I will just have a carry on bag. I have checked in online and have my boarding passes on the app (Aer Lingus).

Does this mean when I get to the airport, I can go straight to the security check?

I'm a nervous flyer and also suffer with anxiety in general, so the less things to have to worry about on the day, the better. If I know this information in advance it would help me a lot.
