Planning Permission Restrictions Protected Structure

Hi, I am doing some research on possibly buying a house which has a protected structure status in rural Tipperary. I have read through all i can find on Councty council website but can not find clarification of my question.

As a non local to the area will local needs apply to all an any planning on the protected structure house or are there exemptions as the property is in need of regeneration.

Hi and thank you so much for your reply.

Sorry I meant to add that the house is currently not habitable, needs renovation and upgrading of all services, vacant 10 years, does that change the local needs requirement for planning in Tipperary?

You need to check the Tipperary county development plan

There should be a section specific for renovations of derelict dwellings.
