    Can anybody tell me what that noise is please.

    This won't let me post a link to the recording of the noise.

    Its like a humming or rubbing of some sort.

    Only happens in first gear as I am pulling away for about a second. No sound while driving just pulling away in first gear.

    Sounds like brake pads are stuck but they seem fine.

    Thanks for any help.

    Could be an issue with your electronic handbrake staying on too long.
