URGENT help needed - can't find VLC

    Hi, I've a car financed with AIB (contract hire purchase) and need the VLC for tomorrow but cannot find it.

    1. I remember that I definitely got the VLC shortly after the car was registered, and placed in in the normal 'car stuff' folder, but now, 3 years later, it's not there and cannot think of anywhere else it could be. Any chance because it's financed, I wouldn't have received the VLC? It's not on PCP, but on Hire Purchase.
    2. Do they always check for the VLC when taking the ferry to Holyhead, is there an alternative I can use? Probably not, I have the contract with AIB, insurance, tax etc...If I can get to Holyhead, I can drop my family to the airport in London, even if it means I have to come back and make different arrangements.
    3. Need to apply for a new VLC, in the meantime I'm not able to take the car outside Ireland, right?

    Any help appreciated.
