ELIMINATIONS TO BE AS FOLLOWS :

1. End of September - 2 players eliminated from combined August and September scores
2. End of October - 2 players eliminated
3. End of December - 2 players eliminated from combined November and December scores
4. End of January - 2 players eliminated
5. End of February - 2 players eliminated
6. End of March - 2 players eliminated
7. End of April - 3 players eliminated

This will leave 4 players in May to fight it out for the top 3 prizes.

Just an FYI for all as we head into the last fpl week in August.

There aren't any eliminations at the end of August. First set of eliminations take place at the end of September.

I was hoping that by the end of August I would be sitting comfortably looking down the table, but it looks like I will be spending all September looking over my shoulder.

The two months is a decent run for your money, and all to play for still.

I didn't think we'd be running into any big postponement problems in the FPL monthly last man standing comp besides the normal winter weather issues, but Queen Elizabeth passing away has put paid to that idea!

Looks like it could be blank gameweeks and double gameweeks galore this season!

In terms of this competition, the bottom 2 players are due to be eliminated at the end of September. My sense is that next weekend's PL fixtures will probably not go ahead either, and if that is the case the 2 players currently bottom will be eliminated after fpl gameweek 8.

As more than 2 gameweeks have taken place in the August/September elimination period, there will be no extension granted of this elimination period.

This is set out in the rules at the start of this thread :

At least 2 gameweeks* must take place in the specified elimination period for players to eliminated as normal. If only 1 gameweek has taken place, we will add the scores to the following months tallies and also add more elimination places to the following month if necessary.

* A gameweek will be considered completed once more than 1 Premier League fixture is played.

So as things stand, Skreddy and I will be eliminated if FPL gameweek 8 is also postponed. Apologies Skreddy, it sucks, but I'll have to stick to the rules I've set out if that comes to pass.

It's an unfortunate way to settle things but reading some stuff, there seems to be hope of at least some games next week, and therefore a shot at playing for survival.

September done and we have our first eliminations.

My own team Calmwood MH finished rock bottom and well off the pace. Incredibly tight in the end for the other elimination spot, with only 2 points separating 3 teams. Kathleen Grant and Skreddy doing some mighty work to avoid the drop. mno101 the unlucky one to fall just short and be eliminated.

Just a couple of things to note as a bumper October fpl month kicks off.

There are only 17 players remaining in this competition (my team Calmwood MH are eliminated, so disregard their presence in league table).

2 players will be eliminated at the end of October.

It seems that as per usual the fpl site do not deduct transfer hits in the first gameweek of a month, when using the monthly table filter. So these hits will be accounted for manually at the end of each month.
