    Well Lads,

Just wondering if anyone can give me a rough figure of what it would cost to import a tractor from France - Dublin Port. I have heard figures of transport costs being about €1/per mile but cant imagine that's still the case for over seas shipping now adays with rising fuel costs etc. Have also heard figures of about €1500-2000 Thrown around somewhere before.

So if anyone has a rough Idea It would be great.

    Thanks.

Could you go over on a Ryaanir flight, pick it up and drive it onto the ferry yourself? If it was close enough to the port, I'd imagine it would be plausible?

Plenty of people go across in vans and lorries and with trailers/caravans. I'd imagine you could drive a tractor on the same. I haven't done it now - pure guess.
