Android auto and text messages

    Does anyone have a fix to allow my SMS message notifications come through android auto.

    When I'm connected the message comes through but its like the phone is on silent.

    A Google search shows this has been an issue since November but I can't seem to find a remedy.

    All other notifications come through. WhatsApp, phone calls etc.
