    Hi,

Anyone got any experience using render dyes?

I'll be using white sand & white cement.

most common product is cementone , they have one called russet.

I'm wondering if that is close to a terracotta .

    thanks

I used cementone dye a few years ago.

Looked great for about 3 weeks, then started to fade.

I would say experiment with colours first.

Local Businesses that make concrete/garden products usually have better quality dyes they use to colour their products...I got some for mixing with concrete from them to match nearby tar colour and its kept its colour reasonably well for nearly 10 yrs so far
