Clear fault on HKC 1070.

Assuming i have the eng code, how can i clear a tamper fault. Amber fault and red alarm leds

I came across with a zone that is coming up as tamper. I got an alarm company in to have a look and they believe thw issue is from cut wire. They joint wires (black and red) to stpo the fault from coming up and installed a wireless alarm in a new zone.

After few days the fault came back again. I suspect someone touched the wired (attic works) and i cant seem to enable the alarm due to tamper zones. I can not also bypass with 0code#zone.

You would need to be careful unless you know what exactly is on that zone.

You could bypass the tamper side of a loop in the control panel leaving the alarm side working if wired in this way.

Using the engineer code to disable the zone itself is an option but as I've said above you would need to know your not disabling part of your alarm system with it.

Thanks. I am trying to get the eng to come back.

I think that zone should be dead as the wired sensor was replaced by a wireless one and programed on a new zone. So basically that old zone should not be doing anything there.

Strange that he didn't just disable the zone but yes, better to get the engineer to have a look at it just in case.

All sorted. He disabled the zone. Shared the code. Should be fine.

Is there a manual for the options available within eng mode?
