An exclusive interview to Piers Morgan and the Sun, where he slates his manager. The club must have known about it, and told him where to go, using the 'illness' lie as a cover story to explain his absences from recent match day squads.

Ronaldo purposely releasing the interview on a certain date so that all the attention is on him. Says it all about him really.

Ten Hag should let that child rot until January and then fire him out the gate to anywhere that will take him.

Although I doubt many to clubs would bother these days.

Let him rot till the summer and have him report for training to run laps of some pitch. Wouldn't even let him train with the kids.

Inspired by Harvey Dent's classic; "you either leave a hero or stay long enough to become the villain"!

In Ronaldo's case, he really shouldn't have come back. It was obvious the team was in shambles with zero need of further drama.

What United fans do you speak off?

"Terrible owners who United fans are back to forgiving"

So you are full of **** because if you as a United supporter watched the game today, the United fans were the loudest in the Fulham stadium and the Glazers out chants were clear as day through the TV.

Fans with the shortest memory in football....have you forgotten the walking out on the team twice before the game finished.

Throwing the captains armband in the villa dugout.

Carried us last year, for sure he got goals the highest amount in the team under the **** appointment of Ragnick who he called out. Now a manager who is in charge and has a system that doesn't suit Ronaldo he has a fit. Compare now to this time last year we are close to 10points better off, we are stats wise and play wise a better team without him and thats a fact.

He wanted a move in the summer but no club in Europe could afford him and the clubs that could do, simply didn't need him.

Anyone who does a interview with Piers Morgan has an agenda and its only for their oen ego.

This forum is full of plenty of fans of opposing teams and we can all give stick in threads, post in to other threads the odd time with the odd jibe or congratulate in success, but you must be the most deluded if you think this way he went about things is right.

I really hope United fire Ronaldo. Comments like that would surely be s breach of contract.

They have over a month to sort it but a quick - Jog On - would suit both parties.

He has surely ruined a lot of the legacy he built up there.

His ego was always going to be a problem.

The state of that Ronaldo interview. Utd fans will be delighted to see the back of him. Ronaldo is looking out for the Ronaldo brand, not the club that employs him.

Ten Hag had to make a big call dropping him and now must feel fully vindicated.

Jaysus that is pure class seeing a true club legend actually trying to burn his club down while still contracted to it and being paid over half a million a week by the same club.

Just goes to show what a different planet that man lives on where he can think this interview makes him seem in any way sympathetic.

Ronaldo only cares about Ronaldo, any issues are always someone else’s fault. I would imagine 99% of the fans will be delighted to see the back of him and he’ll probably never play for the club again.

As for Ronaldo, that could signal the end of his career at the top level. What club are going to take on a 37 year old who will demand high wages, will need to be accommodated and will have no problem publicly lashing out if he’s not happy?

Ronaldo hasn't done a tap on the pitch so is making it all about him off it,

Everyone and there dog seen this coming for United it was never going to end well ,

Ronaldo needs to be careful here because he could literally be ending his own career at the top end ,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,876 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

United should keep him for the remainder of his contract and never start him. Just sub him on with 30 seconds to go in each game so it counts as an appearance, but he won't get the chance to score. It will hamper his games/goals ratio. Messi will overtake him in total goals scored. 2 things that will hurt him an awful lot.

It's some achievement to be in a room with Piers Morgan and for him not to be the most insufferable prick in the room!

This Ronaldo stuff is the comedy I've been looking forward to, to distract from the other sh1tshow that's going to happen in Qatar

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,029 ✭✭✭✭thebaz

Get the fanboy glasses off, he WAS a great goalscorer , a shadow of the player he was , team does much better when he and his ego are out - having a go at Ten Hag who has turned things a round , if he feals so bad about United , maybe he shouldn't pick up his monthly millions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,189 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Lol he's just pathetic. He actually made piers look good, could be his greatest achievement yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,474 ✭✭✭Royale with Cheese

I think that's it for Ronaldo at the top level now, no other serious club will touch him after that interview. He'll be pushing 38 after the world cup and out of form this year so he doesn't offer enough on the pitch to make up for all the shít that comes with him anymore. He'll end up in Saudi or MLS or somewhere like that.

He's goes off crying to Piers Morgan when things aren't going his way, it's actually fúcking hilarious 😂

Mad to think that summers transfer's was supposed to turn Untied into title contenders

Varane - crock ,Sancho - basically Andros Townsend & Ronaldo made the change there system to fit him in that made them worse & causes drama every couple of weeks,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,391 ✭✭✭Brendan Flowers

Varane a crock? He's played 10 of Utd's 14 league games this season, formed an excellent partnership with Martinez and is one of the best centre backs in the PL.

He has already missed 25 game through injury at United & only there a season & a bit , And that doesn't count games like Chelsea & City where he left the pitch injured ,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,758 ✭✭✭Ottoman_1000

Is Garnacho a fan of tough love or is he genuinely a problem? There is more focus on his poor attitude and work rate in every ETH interview than there's about his performances, even Bruno had a go a few weeks ago. I get it, you don't want to build him up too much and inflate the ego but jasus give the young lad a break, no?

Looks a real talent for his age but reading about some of the behind the scenes attitude issues etc you would hope he does not follow the Greenwood route.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,755 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

Jesùs theres a fair few fùcking levels between dodgy timekeeping and sexual assault charges.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,292 ✭✭✭Decuc500

Sancho is young and still trying to settle in to the Premier League. Varane is a world class centre back who has been injured recently.

And no, that transfer window wasn't supposed to turn United into title contenders. It was supposed to help in improving the team and start turning things around. Obviously.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,954 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

They finished second the season before & that window was 100% being called the one to make them title challengers ,

Varane is world class so is De Gea & Martinez ,The team plays extremely deep & protected but yet still have conceded more than 7 of the top 8 & more than Everton & Westham who are just above the relegation zone

Liverpool have been a shambles everyone & the mother has been laughing at there defending yet they have also let in less than United ,

    Something doesn't add up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,951 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

I think there's many that would argue with you on DDG being world class. One particular aspect of his game may be world class, but there are other sides to his game that let him down massively and create problems for United.

Martinez is world class now yet you have been mocking him all season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,954 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

Facetious :not meant to be taken seriously or literally: a facetious remark. amusing; humorous.

So I assume you consider Ibrahima Konaté to be an even bigger crock for Liverpool?
