Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

housekeeping / waiting

    Hi

    My son had an interview recently for an establishment and got word the other day saying "We would like you to start with us for a combination role of housekeeping and service starting on Saturday morning at...". To me this sounds like he got the job but he went in today but was allowed home at 1pm instead of the 4pm as was mentioned to him. My son seemed to think it was a trial as he was told by the person showing the ropes that the manager would get back to him by email.

    Any thoughts? It's his first job so he's not sure. If it was a trial should he get paid for going in?
