I thought I'd start this master thread for pride weekend this year. It will be my first pride weekend and I have no idea what is happening apart from the parade and mother block party (and I only found out about that this week, and the tickets are sold out). So if people post here what is happening, when, where, and links to information or tickets, then it might help people trying to plan their weekend.

    Happy Pride!

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Thread is very quiet given that we are now in the thick of Pride with the Dublin parade due to be held this coming Saturday 25th. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Anyone else going along to see the parade or go to the after-parties? I'm going on a walking tour of LGBT Dublin this Friday - Tonie Walsh is the tour guide.

Every year I miss out on Pride tickets. Is it just me or the Mother event is overhyped, other than years and years I haven't a clue whose playing. But I agree about the events, it is quite disjointed and one has to go hunting to see what's on where. I mean the parade finishes in Merrion Sq but Mother is at the opposite end of the city. I'm gonna go to the Dollard market party as it looks good and handy location, prob end up in the george even though it will be about 2hr queue and prob full of hetero lads out with their work companies! :):)

what time is the parade at? This article reviewing the parade was written and published this morning but refers to an afternoon parade. Includes interviews with people at the interview, in the future!

Was it just all made up? Sloppy journalism

Overall I thought that Pride was really positive and fun.
