    Hi all

got a reply from a sale agent when I query about the wired alarm system, is this common practice or just cost of saving from Builders?

    Thanks

There is no wiring for an alarm.

Most alarms are wireless now and can be installed by buyers once the sale completes.

My new build came wired for alarm. After checking wired vs wireless, we thought that wired was more reliable, but maybe now, two years later, that is not the case anymore
