Rebuild cost for home insurance renewal

I currently have it insured for €3500 per square metre. Its an ex Corpo mid terrace (Dublin). Does this sound ok? Does anyone have an update on the going rate for such a build/rebuild just now?

This Guide link below gives a guide price of €2,302 per sq.m. for a 2 Bed Terraced Townhouse in Dublin, and €2,195 for a 3 Bed.

It is a waste of money insuring your home for anything more, unless you have to include for other items listed on the guide.

If there is an Insurance Claim on the property, the Loss Adjuster will use this Guide to check if your property is fully insured.

Note: if your house is insured for say 30% less than that what it should be as shown on the guide, then the Loss Adjusted will agree the Claim and deduct 30% before paying.

The Guile is for the total Internal Area of your house. Do not make any deductions.
