Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, any Leyland experts on here? My old Leyland 253 that has been parked in the shed for a number of years I have decided to restore it recently but the lift will not work. I have cleaned out all the hydraulic filters. Any suggestions what I should check next?

What happens when you move the lever to raise the lift? Are you getting the noise of the pump coming under pressure for instance? Is there a connection for attaching an external service, like a tipping trailer? If so, have you connected anything to see if that works?

Nothing happens when raise lever. No noise from the pump and no external services.

@roosterman71 has often showed us his leyland at work. He might shed some light on your problem?

Otherwise, Donie Moloney or his son from between Abbeyfeale and Castleisland are experts at these Leyland's and Marshall’s.

Afraid I can't help. Lift works on our 272 up until the oil gets hot and thins out. Then it doesn't work right. Might lift but would need full revs. Would need them to even hold the lift up with weight on. We got the pump changed a couple of times for other second hand ones and still no success.
