Bicycle / Bikes on Bus Eireann

    Booked ticket for myself and bike on 13.00 bus from Bus Arus Dublin to Letterkenny. Arrived and driver said he needed space for luggage at airport stop. Was reluctant to take the bike. He opened hatch on drivers side. Space is very small and I had to invert the bike and squeeze it in. Is this typical of all Bus Eireann buses? Why don't we provide adequately for the carriage of bikes?
