Apple's annual developer conference kicks off today. At those prices, wouldn’t it make more sense to just buy the 13” Macbook Pro?

No. It's older, thicker, has a pointless TouchBar and has a fan when the M1 air has proven that it's not needed.
Overall a good update, lots of nice software improvements.

I assume all vehicles get the updated CarPlay UI, and it's just the new vehicles that will get the new full immersive dash?
